"We received our photos today! They are all absolutely beautiful, we are so happy with them. You were just so discrete, I don't think I noticed you photographing at all, yet you caught every moment and everyone looks so happy and natural! Thank you so much for being such a great photographer and for all the extra touches like the chocolates and password cards; we will definitely recommend you to anyone we know getting married."
Paul and Megan got married last summer at St Salvator's Chapel, with their reception being held in the Upper and Lower College Halls.
Megan wore a button up dress from Marylise, and paired it with a gorgeous belt and cathedral length veil (which, of course, got blown off in the St Andrews wind!!) - so simple, elegant and BEAUTIFUL! Her bridesmaids wore navy dresses that they wrapped and tied in different ways, making them all a little bit unique. They all had a few simple flowers in their hair, matching their white, yellow and gold bouquets.
With a mix of Dutch and Scottish heritage, their wedding was lovely and heartfelt, with friends and family traveling a long way to get to it. Megan made a speech in Dutch, and Paul wore tartan trews. They had readings in both Dutch and English during their ceremony, making it a perfect mix of their cultures.
We snuck off briefly to get some photographs on the beach, where there is the most incredible view back over St Andrews. Their wedding cake, made by 3D Cakes was one of the best I've tasted. A beautiful day to capture.
I still have availability from August 2018 onwards if you're planning your wedding and would like to enquire about my wedding photography services - I'd love to hear from you!
