James & Rosie - Cuddystone Hall Wedding, College Valley, Northumberland
James and Rosie wanted a relaxed wedding, and they achieved that. It was so informal and fun.
Cuddystone Hall, nestled in the College Valley of Northumberland is an unassuming chapel-like venue with the possibility of an attached marquee and is so peaceful and remote, all guests are fully there as there is no phone service! Surrounded by the Cheviot Hills, I can't think of a more picturesque place to have a wedding.
Rosie and her bridesmaids enjoyed a slow morning with plenty of photo opportunities and time to relax and drink bubbly together while they did their own makeup. They drove to the hall in a camper van which their guests saw arriving through rolling hills and sheep.
After a ceremony in the beautifully decorated hall, James, Rosie, their families, and friends celebrated in the adjoining marquee. With borrowed bunting, no seating plan, homemade favours and table decorations, everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ in lovely surroundings. It was a very homely feel, and I was made to feel so welcome.
Fabulous wedding. Your photos make me feel like I was an invited guest. Lovely!
