Sian and Craig are getting married at The Sage, Gateshead at the end of the summer. They currently live in Scotland, but they came down to Northumberland for the pre-wedding photoshoot, and we went to Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, a favourite place of mine. It turns out, this is where they went when Craig first met Sian's parents a few years ago as well, so it has some significance to them too. I love making engagement sessions as personal to the couple as possible, and this one was just that. Sian and Craig brought along some props to add to their shoot, and the session itself as well as the photographs from it were all the better for them.
It was so lovely to meet this couple, and they have many fun hobbies, which they shared a small part of with me on the day - As you'll see from the photographs, I got my very own concert as they played a tune they wrote themselves on the Ukulele and Bodhran. We found that the bluebells were in full bloom in the woods on the way to the castle as well - those colours!!
I'm really looking forward to seeing them again in a few months' time, and seeing their wedding plans come to life - I'm sure it'll be a really stunning day.
